Fabrication

Ort Tool and Die has always focused its efforts to provide services that our customers need. Keeping this in mind, we have developed a fabrication department that is second to none. We have set up a separate 10,000 Sq. Ft. building for fabricating many different types of assemblies for complete projects or machined parts. Whether we are making a welded assembly or vacuum chamber we ensure our quality through certified welding inspectors and necessary process checks.

Certifications
AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Welding Code is probably one of the big ones, ASME Section IX, Mil-Std 1595A Flight Hardware (Aviation), Groups IA thru IIIB which include Inconel, all PH Stainless Steels, Stainless Steel, titanium. Aluminum codes would fall under 6061-T6 and 6013. We also have dissimilar metal certs like 17-4PH to 625 Inconnel.

ORT also has a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) on our payroll giving us the ability to test and certify our welders for many special welding processes.
